Mrs. Geonice Hanchett, Founder & CEO
Ladies in Stride, Inc.
The Home Office of Ladies in Stride, Incorporated would like to take this opportunity to introduce to some and present to others the Founder and CEO of our Organization, Mrs. Geonice Hanchett.
Mrs. Hanchett is a wonderful woman of God and started off early in life with a desire to encourage others as she pushes forward to lead a successful and productive life. She was selected to study abroad and graduated early from high school 2 months after her 17th birthday. Mrs. Hanchett is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is a former Registered Respiratory Therapist, working for many years with Adults, but her specialty was with newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The Beach is Mrs. Hanchett Happy Place, but she also enjoys relaxing around water in general. Her favorite pastimes are spending Precious Time with Family, Walking, Playing her Flute and Piano, Photography and Planning Events.
She is a member of New Mercies Christian Church where Jesse Curney,III is Senior Pastor and the Spiritual Advisor for Ladies in Stride, Inc.
Mrs. Hanchett is a loving and devoted wife and resides in Smoke Rise Georgia with her husband of 39 years, Dr. Donald Hanchett, Medical Advisor of Ladies in Stride, Inc.
She is the loving Mother of 4, Panette, Paul (Ashley), Kevin and Donald-II (her Guardian Angel in Heaven). She is the loving Grandmother of 5. Alexis, Anthony, Taylen, Ava and Paul Jr.
Mrs. Hanchett has a genuine love for people and her main purpose in life is to Uplift, Encourage and Inspire others.
On September 24, 2011 Mrs. Hanchett was blessed with the Vision for Ladies in Stride Inc. L.I.S. is a diverse organization that began with input from all her children. It is now the Awesome Sisterhood that we have all come to know and love. Mrs. Hanchett is especially proud to have initiated L.I.S. Worldwide Mother’s Day “Act of Kindness” when our sisters all over the world present 1 Red Rose, the flower of love, to a lady that they do not know, that is in need of encouragement, simply to remind them that They Are Loved! She is blessed by knowing that L.I.S. is making a positive
impact in this world, 1 lady at a time!
Our Founder always says that God may have chosen her to birth this beautiful baby called L.I.S., but every sister of L.I.S. is its Heartbeat! And She Loves and Appreciates Them All!
